Saturday, January 14, our race walker Jean-Paul Masselin broke the records in France, Europe and the world's 3,000 m race walk at the Pre-Regional race in Mondeville (Lower Normandy) in the category M65.
Under ideal conditions (League, organizers, judges and race walkers), Jean-Paul went to pick the new record by browsing through the 3000 m race walking in 14'50''92.

With his new shoes, Inov8 Xlite Road 155 provided by TriRunWalk.com, Jean-Paul Masselin beats the record of France who was until then the records of 15'29''70 Europe and the world that was previously in 15'19 '02.
Jean Paul Masselin was accompanied by his faithful fellow club Xavier Bunel has performed very well in 13'56''09 for this 3000 m race walking race.
On The 5000 m race walk, Jean Paul Masselin also improves the record of France in the M65 field in 25'04''22. The previous record was 26'26''56.
It remains to mention the outstanding performance of Simon Hurault approaching its record for its first release. Hurault Simon finished second in the 5,000 m walk with 22'56''82.
The Race Walking team from Trirunwalk.com strengthens with four new members including three representatives (Jean-Paul Masselin, Xavier Bunel and Simon Hurault ) come to participate in pre-regional Normandy in the beautiful indoor hall Michel D 'Ornano in Mondeville near Caen.
